Operation :
These dewatering pumps offer a most economical way of solving dewatering problems. It can be easily handled and installed. Pump connected with discharge hose is lowered in the sump and dewatering can start. They may be operated in any position- vertical, horizontal or inclined and requires no foundation and can also operate in partly submerged position.

Advantages
These dewatering pumps are very simple and robust in design and can withstand rough handling at sites. These pumps are portable, self priming, very compact and easy to maintain.
The construction of the unit is - Pump below and motor above type. The suction inlet is the bottom so that the water is pumped from lowest level. The motor is squirrel cage induction type suitable for 400/ 440 Volts, 3 Phase 50 Hz, A.C. Supply, 2900 RPM / 1450 RPM. Water and oil proof, fitted with ball bearings. The motor is of wet type cooled with transformer oil and fitted with TC/TC MECHANICAL SEAL. This seal prevents the pumped water from entering and mixing with transformer oil. If however the water finds ingress into the motor, it will not burn.
These pumps are constructed from quality materials such as Aluminum Alloy, Close grained C.I. Castings, EN 8 Rotor Shaft, CF 8M (SS 316) Impeller etc. Dewatering pumps are also available on request in special materials of construction such as S.S. 316, Aluminum, Bronze, etc.
